Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to shop here, read about the fragrances and take part in The Next Turn, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

What we are working to

Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. In practice that means the site is built so that every colour pair for text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio, every control can be reached and operated with a keyboard, every image that carries meaning has a text description, forms have labels and clear error messages, nothing flashes, the page still works at 200 percent zoom and on a phone, and the order of content makes sense when read aloud. The Turn, which we write with an arrow on packaging (ROSE → HIBISCUS TEA), is written out as "Rose to Hibiscus Tea" for screen readers.

What is still true

Some parts of the store are provided by third parties, including the checkout, customer accounts and product reviews, and we rely on those providers for their accessibility. We test with keyboard navigation, screen readers and automated checks, but we are a small team and we will miss things.

Tell us

If something on this site is hard or impossible for you to use, email hello@twynela.com with the page and what happened. We will fix what we can and, if you cannot complete an order, we will take it by email instead. We aim to reply within two business days.
