This page says who owns what on twynela.com, and makes plain what we are and are not.

Our marks

Twynela, the twynela wordmark, the circled t monogram, the twynela seal, The Turn, The First Turn, The Next Turn, Find Your Turn, "You know this one. Almost.", "Known scents, turned.", Pink Unsweet, Skin in Daylight and Mineral Ember are trademarks of Twynela LLC. Our logos, packaging, photographs, product copy, quiz and site design are protected by copyright. Please ask before you reuse any of it.

Other people's marks, and what we are not

Some product pages name another fragrance. For example, a page may say "an independent interpretation inspired by" a named perfume. Those names (and the house names that go with them) are registered trademarks of their respective owners. We use them for one reason: to tell you, truthfully and in ordinary words, which scent direction a Twynela fragrance started from, so you can decide whether it is for you.

To be completely clear:

  • Twynela is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, licensed by, sponsored by, or endorsed by any other fragrance house, and none of them has approved our products.
  • Our fragrances are our own compositions. They are not copies, "dupes" or clones, and we do not claim that any of them is identical to another product. Every Twynela fragrance changes the familiar direction on purpose; that change is the point.
  • We never use another brand's logo, bottle design, packaging or imagery, and the other brand's name never appears on our bottles or boxes.
  • The other brands' products are sold by them and their authorized retailers. If you want the original, buy the original.

Copyright and takedown notices

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to our designated agent at hello@twynela.com or by mail to Twynela LLC, Attn: Copyright Agent, 5900 Balcones Drive, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78731. Include: your contact details; the copyrighted work; the URL of the material; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act; and your physical or electronic signature. We respond to complete notices and may remove the material or ask the poster to respond.
